WORLD BOOK & COPYRIGHT DAY CELEBRATIONS!

Learning Paths School, Mohali celebrated the ‘World Book & Copyright Day’ to promote reading and to inculcate love for books among the students. The school library hosted many events and activities throughout the week to mark the event. The Pre-Primary students made bookmarks and had a puppet storytelling session. The students of Class I read the story ‘The Little Rabbit Learns to Climb’ and colored the illustrations. Class II students did an activity on completing the story by filling in the words using picture clues. Class III students enjoyed drawing, colouring and writing about their favourite fairy tale characters. Class IV students were seen in action making hand puppets on the characters from the wonderful world of Noddy. The students of Class V were introduced to the marvellous world of Roald Dahl, a famous children’s author. They participated in an Inter Section Bulletin Board Competition on the life and works of Roald Dahl. A Book Cover making competition was organised for the students of Classes VI-VIII, who exhibited immense creativity doing the task. The students of Classes IX and X participated in a creative writing competition on the topic ‘A book that made me a reader OR changed my life.’ The week was well spent by the students having fun with adventure around books and reading!
