INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL LIBRARY MONTH 2017!

Learning Paths School celebrates ‘International School Library Month’ in the month of October. This year, the school will be participating in the ‘International Bookmark Exchange Project’,’ International Digital Bookmark Exchange’ , ‘Skype Project’ and ‘Giggle IT’. These events will begin from October till November end and then the school's final report will be sent to be uploaded on IASL. These events are organized by IASL (International Association of School Librarianship).

The 2017 theme for ISLM is “Connecting Communities and Cultures”.

• International Bookmark Exchange

The school will be exchanging bookmarks with the various partner schools from different countries are:-

• GiggleIT

GiggleIT is a separate IASL project. It is an international reading and writing based activity. GiggleIT is particularly appropriate as an activity for ISLM this year because communities and cultures connect through the participating students’ sharing of writing about their own cultures.
